He’s as sweet as he is handsome – and he’s the newest member of our buck herd.
HBF Phineas is a 2025 badger buck out of our own beloved HBF Phoebe, by the 2019 Cashmere Goat Association reserve champion buck, CSM Copper.
While we didn’t originally intend to keep Phin as a buck, by the time he reached six months old, it became very clear that this boy is going to be something special.
And that shouldn’t actually be too much of a surprise – there’s a legacy of high-quality genetics behind this boy that we’re very excited about.
We can’t wait to see how Phin matures and evaluates over the next few years. We do expect him to take after his dam’s line and grow out into a large-framed buck.
