By our senior herdsire, EMW Aeros, and out of our beloved blondie, STON Belinde, Sonny is a cashmere-making machine, a proven sire, and a full brother to our 2023 CGA/NWCA Grand Champion Buck, HBF Loki. His twin sister, HBF Cher, took first place in her very competitive classes in both the 2021 and 2023 NWCA/CGA Fleece Competitions.
Histogram available. His mean fiber diameter on his 2020 fleece was 15.0 microns, with a CRV of 68.6 and a 45 mm staple, as measured by Texas A&M. Sonny is registered with the Cashmere Goat Association.
Sonny did suffer an injury in the summer of 2025 that resulted in the loss of a good portion of his left horn. He recovered nicely, and is as robust and healthy as ever, though is now notably lopsided.
Stud fee for HBF Sonny is $150 per doe, with one rebreeding offered if not settled, and breeding availability to Sonny will be limited for the Fall 2025 breeding season.
