One of three foundational does in our herd, STON Belinde was born in 2012 at Stone Harvest Farm in Massachusetts. She passed away on October 29, 2025, at 13 years old.
By HF Randy and out of STC L’Oreal, Belinde was beloved in our herd. She was a big doe with a sweet personality who spent many years as our herd queen, bossing everyone else around.
You could call her by her name, and she’d amble over. She was a fierce and loving mother. And she was beyond beautiful, a blonde cashmere cloud on four legs.
Belinde left an indelible mark on our herd. Our pastures are peppered with her red daughters. Her red son, HBF Loki, was our first Grand Champion buck.
Her color, her demeanor, her bone, and her build have forever stamped our bloodline. Every long-stapled fleece, dorsal stripe, and badger-marked face probably can be traced back to her.
For nine years, we were so very fortunate to call her ours.
